*電気通信研究所　RIEC 2025／2026Applications for the FY2025 RIEC Nation-wide Cooperative Research Project Program were received from inside and outside the Institute, and 136 projects (A :83, B :36, S : 1, S-international :3, T :13) were approved. Type A projects have access to the Institute’s facilities and equipment, and 78 out of 83 proposals came from external applicants. Type B are short-term, study group-type projects, and 33 out of 36 proposals came from external applicants. Furthermore, 10 private sector researchers participated in Type A and 24 in Type B.There are five types of research in Type A : International Cooperative Research Project ,Young Researcher’s Project and General Joint Research and Advancement. In addition to these three, Type B also has Industry-University Cooperative Research Project.Type S consists of Inter-Organizational Cooperative Research Projects, and Type S-International Promotes Collaborative Research with Overseas Organizations. The Institute will take the lead in priority research areas in information technology, collaborating with domestic and overseas research organizations, including university-affiliated institutes, that are complementary and can create synergy.Until FY2021, the Institute operated the Study Groups on Electrical Communication as a place to present and discuss research findings, establish new research fields, and foster exploratory research. From FY2022, however, the Study Group will be classified as Type T and become part of the Cooperative Research Project Program to foster the Institute’s students. The applications are screened, and approved projects are implemented with relevant Institute faculty members until March of the following year. Furthermore, the Institute holds the RIEC Annual Meeting on Cooperative Research Projects every February to present the results of the projects and hold active discussions with Japanese and foreign researchers.http://www.riec.tohoku.ac.jp/en/nation-wide/koubo/採択件数 129 件（A：75 件、B：38 件、S：1 件、S 国際：3 件、区分Ｔ：12 件）研究者数 1,272 名（A：524 名、B：452 名、S：17 名、S 国際：56 名、区分Ｔ：223 名）※区分 A と区分 B に対する 4 つのタイプの採択件数の内訳は以下の通りである（重複を含む）。国際共同研究推進型：35 件若手研究者対象型：11 件産学共同研究推進型：9 件一般共同研究推進型：67 件2025 年度の共同プロジェクト研究は、所内外から公募され、審議の結果、136 件（A：83 件、B：36 件、S：1 件、S 国際：3 件、T：13 件）が採択された。なお、区分 A は各々の研究課題について本研究所の施設・設備などを使用して行うプロジェクトであり、83 件のうち 78 件が外部よりの提案、区分 B は短期開催の研究会形式のプロジェクトで、36 件のうち 33 件が外部よりの提案のものである。また、民間の研究者は、区分 A に 10 人、区分 B に 24 人参加している。区分A に対しては、国際共同研究推進型、若手研究者対象型、一般共同研究推進型の 3 つの研究タイプ、区分 B に対しては、これらに加え産学共同研究推進型を設けている。また、区分 S は組織間連携に基づく共同プロジェクト研究であり、区分 S 国際は国際的連携研究推進を目的として海外組織と共同研究を実施するものである。情報通信分野の特に力点を置いて研究を推進すべき課題について、本研究所が中心となりつつ、相乗・補完効果の期待できる国内外の大学附置研等の研究組織と共同して推進する。なお、これまで研究発表・討論、新分野の開拓および萌芽的研究の育成の場として運営されてきた「東北大学電気通信研究所工学研究会」を、2022 年度より学内の学生育成支援を主たる目的とした「区分 T」として、共同プロジェクト研究の一環として取り扱うこととした。工学研究会の理念を継承したうえで、学内外の研究者による研究会や講演会での発表・討論を通じ、共同利用・共同研究拠点の活動をさらに推進する。2024年度実績共同プロジェクト研究は、毎年 1 月に翌年度のプロジェクトの公募を行い、審査を経て採択された課題は、本研究所の対応教員とともに翌年 3 月までプロジェクトを実施することとしている。また、共同プロジェクト研究の成果発表の場として、毎年 2 月に「共同プロジェクト研究発表会」を開催し、国内外の多数の研究者による活発な議論が行われている。http://www.riec.tohoku.ac.jp/ja/nation-wide/koubo/RIEC Nation-wide Cooperative Research Projects in FY2025Public Invitation to RIEC Nation-wide Cooperative Research Project 共同プロジェクト研究共同プロジェクト研究の公募・実施について19
