The student in the fourth year, Fumitaka Iga at Endoh Laboratory was awarded “The Encouragement Prize” in IEEE Sendai Section Student Award 2008. This prize is awarded to the student who delivered the excellent paper among the others at Student Session in 2008 Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers.
The subject matter of his paper is the research on “Evaluation technique of SONOS type MOS diode for future nonvolatile memory”.
