On November 28, 2011, Master course student Tetsuya Fukushima in Otsuji-Suemitsu Laboratory received “Young Researcher Award” at 1st International Symposium on Terahertz Nanoscience (GDR-I THz 2011).The award was given to young researchers who presented their excellent works at the poster session in GDR-I THz 2011.

The awarded subject is “Observation of Stimulated Emission from Optically Pumped Graphene by Using Terahertz Photon Echoes.
