Assist. Prof. Dr. Akira Satou received the 2012 FSY Young Research Investigator Award from the Miyagi Industrial and Science Foundation(June 8th, 2013.)
Assist. Prof. Dr. Akira Satou in the Ultra-broadband Signal Processing Laboratory, RIEC, Tohoku University, has received the 2012 FSY Young Research Investigator Award from the Miyagi Industrial and Science Foundation. This award was established in 1986 to recognize the significant achievments on science and technology done by potential young researchers in Miyagi prefecture. The award was given to Dr. Satou by the recongnition of the achevments on precision modeling of nonequilibrium carrier dynamics in graphene and its application to creation of terahertz lasers.
