Mr. Naoto Sugaya, the 2nd degree of master course at New Paradigm VLSI System Laboratory (Hanyu-Natsui Group), received The Incentive
Award in Tohoku Branch of The Institute of Electronics,Information Processing Society of Japan. This prize is awarded to the young researchers who gave excellent presentations in 2015 Tohoku-Section Joint Convention of Institutes of Electrical and Information Engineers, Japan (held on August 27-28, 2015).

The awarded subject matter is entitled “Error Correction Scheme Using Recurrent Neural Network and Its application to Intra-Chip Data Transmission”.
