The Sato Prize Paper Award was established in 1961. This prize is given to at most two outstanding papers appearing in journals of the Acoustical Society of Japan or Acoustical Science and Technology. In this year, two papers given to 57th Sato Prize Paper Award are selected from 87 papers appearing in these journals in 2015 and 2016. The honor was awarded for the paper titled “Sound-space recording and binaural presentation system based on 252-channel microphone array” published in 2015.
