Prof. Akio Ishiguro and two of his colleagues Prof. Auke Jan Ijspeert (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland) and Prof. Emily Standen (University of Ottawa, Canada) won a higly competitive grant from the Human Frontier Science Program. This is for their international collaborative researches on Robotics-inspired biology: decoding flexibility of motor control by studying amphibious locomotion.
