Professor Taiichi Otsuji awarded 2019 Prizes for Science and Technology (Research Category), the Commendation for Science and technology by the MEXT, Japan (April 9th, 2019)
On April 9th, 2019, Professor Taiichi Otsuji awarded 2019 Prizes for Science and Technology (Research Category), the Commendation for Science and technology by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan.
The MEXT has honored those who made significant results and achievements in research and development on science and technology, understanding and promotion, etc. as “Prizes for Science and Technology, the Commendation for Science and technology by the MEXT, Japan”. The award was highly commended for Prof. Otsuji’s research on terahertz sources and detectors utilizing plasmon resonance. The award ceremony will be held on April 17, 2019 at the MEXT.
