International Symposium on Photonics and Optical Communications (ISPOC 2017) will be held at Research Institute of Electrical Communication (RIEC) of Tohoku University for 2 days from 25th to 26th October, 2017.
Including a keynote speech by Prof. Erich P. Ippen of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), we will have remarkable presentations about the latest research topics such as integrated optical devices, silicon photonics, optical materials, quantum optics, terahertz photonics and optical communication by the domestic and overseas experts who are active in the front lines. In the poster session, the research activities of photonics in each department of Tohoku University will be introduced. In addition, the activities of 11 companies will be exhibited.
