This prize is awarded to students who authored an excellent paper for presentation in the 2019 Autumn Meeting of Acoustical Society of Japan. The honor was awarded for the paper titled “Spatial characteristics of auditory selective attention for non-frontal target directions.”

The title of the awarded paper is “Switched-Capacitor Circuit Implementation of the Chaotic Neural Network Reservoir,” written by Maakito Inoue, Keisuke Fukuda, and Yoshihiko Horio.

2020 International Symposium on Brainware LSI

Cancellation of 2020 International Symposium on Brainware LSI 

 

Considering the global concerns over COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided
to cancel the symposium.
We would deeply appreciate your cooperation and understanding on our
decision.

The 7th International Symposium on Brainware LSI, sponsored by the Tohoku University Research Institute of Electrical Communication (RIEC), will be held in Sendai from February 28-29, 2020.

The objective of the symposium is to provide a platform to present information on the latest topics related to brain-oriented LSI (Brainware LSI) technologies and their application to human-like recognition and learning.

World-class experts will speak on research activities from the Brainware LSI project, as well as current hot topics in relevant research.
