Prof. Junichi Murota was awarded The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for 2010: The Prizes for Science and Technology in Research Category. This commendation is awarded to the individuals for their distinguished achievements in ingenious research or development for the promotion of science and technology in Japan. Awarding ceremony will be held on Apr. 13, 2010.
