Mr. Akihiro Hara of Muraoka-Greaves Laboratory (who is a graduate, March 2015) received MSJ Young Scientist Award (Uchiyama Prize) on September 9, 2015.
This award has been established in order to encourage and inspire young members, and is given to researchers under 35 years old who present an excellent paper at the Annual Conference of Magnetics and author a paper which is published. The prize was awarded for the paper titled “Influence of Switching Field Distribution on the Transition Jitter in Grain-Position Controlled Granular Media” which appeared in J.Magn.Soc.Jpn Vol.39, No.3, p.96-99(2015)
