Assist. Prof. Kazuki Takashima, Mr. Takafumi Oyama (M2), Yusuke Asari (former student), Ehud Sharlin and Saul Greenberg (University of Calgary, Canada), and Prof. Yoshifumi Kitamura of the Information Content Design Laboratory presented a paper of joint research with University of Calgary at DIS 2016: ACM SIGCHI Conference on Designing Interactive Systems, and received the Honorable Mention Award.

Since 1995, DIS is the premier, international arena where designers, artists, psychologists, user experience researchers, systems engineers, and more, come together to debate and shape the future of interactive systems design and practice. This year, 107 papers were accepted and presented from 418 submissions (acceptance rate = 26%). The top 1% of total submissions received Best Paper awards, and the top 5% of them received Honorable Mentions.
