Deepika YADAV, 3rd year Doctoral student (Otsuji・Suemitu Laboratory)received Best Poster Presentation Award at the 9th HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates (organized by JSPS, Japan). (March 2nd, 2017.)
On March 2, 2017, Deepika YADAV, a 3rd year Doctoral student at Otsuji & Suemitsu Laboratory received Best Poster Presentation Award at the 9th HOPE Meeting organized by JSPS, Japan, during February 26 – March 2, 2017, in Tokyo, Japan. The award was given to the top five presenters who presented the best content among 110 poster presentations at the HOPE Meeting. HOPE Meetings give opportunities to excellent graduate students selected from countries and areas in the Asia-Pacific and Africa region to engage in interdisciplinary discussions with Nobel Laureates and other distinguished scientists pioneering the frontiers to knowledge. It is hoped that the experience the students gain at the meeting will inspire and motivate them to become excellent scientists able to shoulder the future of science and technology in the region.
The awarded subject of Deepika YADAV is “Terahertz lasers and photodetectors based on graphene/h-BN/graphene van der Waals Heterostructures.”
