Mr. Dai Nakajima at the Ultra-Broadband Signal Processing Laboratory received Swiss Terahertz Prize (the Best Poster Paper Award) at the 47th IRMMW-THz (International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves 2022), in Delft, Netherland (Sept. 2, 2022).
Mr. Dai Nakajima of the Ultra-Wideband Signal Processing Laboratory received the Swiss Terahertz Prize at the 47th IRMMW-THz (International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves) held in Delft, the Netherlands, from August 29 to September 2, 2022. This prize is awarded to the presenter of the best poster paper. The technical program committee chairperson recognized the best paper from the top three papers selected by voting of 780 participants out of 312 accepted papers. The winning paper is entitled “UTC-PD-Integrated HEMT for Optical-to-MMW/THz Carrier Frequency Down-Conversion; Scaling Rule of Conversion Gain on UTC-PD Mesa Size,” authored by Dai Nakajima, Kazuki Nishimura, Tomotaka Hosotani, Keisuke Kasai, Masato Yoshida, Tetsuya Suemits, Taiichi Otsuji, and Akira Satou.
