Mr. Koichi Tamura at the Ultra-Broadband Signal Processing Laboratory received The Best Student Paper Award at the RPGR2022 (Recent Progress in Graphene and Two-dimensional Materials Research Conference 2022), in Taipei, Taiwan (Nov. 24, 2022).

Mr. Koichi Tamura of the Ultra-Wideband Signal Processing Laboratory received the Best Student Paper Award at the RPGR2022 (the 13th International Conference on “Recent Progress in Graphene Research”), held in Taipei, Taiwan, from November 13 to 17, 2022. This prize was awarded to the presenter of the best paper among 88 student papers. The technical program committee (TPC) was responsible for pee-review and evaluation. The TPC chairperson recognized the best student paper; just 3 students received this award from Japan. The winning paper is entitled “Unipolar photothermoelectric THz detection assisted by Coulomb drift/diffusion of Dirac fermions in asymmetric dual-grating-gate graphene FETs,” authored by Koichi Tamura, Chao Tang, Daichi Ogiura, Kento Suwa, Hirokazu Fukidome, Yuma Takida, Hiroaki Minamide, Tetsuya Suemits, Taiichi Otsuji, and Akira Satou.
