The title of “Distinguished Lecturer for 2023” was awarded to Professor Yoichiro Tanaka for the achievement in the magnetic data storage technology centered on perpendicular magnetic recording by IEEE Magnetic Society. This title is given to the researchers who contributed to the magnetic technology. Professor Yoichiro Tanaka is planning to deliver the lecture mainly at Magnetic Society branches all over the world in the next one year.
