Assoc. Prof. Akira Satou at the Ultra-broadband Signal Processing Laboratory received M. Ishida Foundation Special Research Award (M. Ishida Prize) 2023.
M. Ishida Foundation Research Award praises research achievements of researchers and educators who engage in information-telecommunication researches and developments in environment engineering, system engineering, and all fields of engineering. Furthermore, Special Research Award (M. Ishida Prize) is given to the highest-ranked person who has been evaluated as particularly outstanding.
The award was given to the research on “Research and practical application of optical-wireless-converged new-principle ultra-broadband signal processing devices utilizing semiconductor two-dimensional plasmons.” The award ceremony took place on October 27th, 2023.
