Professor Taiichi Otsuji has been awarded Fellow, JSAP (Japan Society of Applied Physics). (May 10th, 2018)

On May 10th, 2018, Professor Taiichi Otsuji was awarded Fellow, JSAP (Japan Society of Applied Physics). He is being recognized for “pioneering research on terahertz devices utlizing two-dimensional plasmon resonance phenomena.”

The JSAP Grade of Fellow is conferred by the JSAP Fellow Award Committee upon a person with an outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the JSAP fields of interest. This year 15 scientists including Prof. T. Otsuji have been awarded the JSAP Fellow among 24,000 regular members of the JSAP.

The JSAP Fellow Award Ceremony will be held on Sept. 8th, 2018, at the Nagoya Congress Center as a part of the official events of the 79th JSAP Autumn Meeting.
