Yoichiro Tanaka to Receive IEEE Fellow Title
IEEE(The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.) awarded the IEEE Fellowship to Professor Yoichiro Tanaka, Research Institute of Electrical Communication.
IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity with more than 400,000 members from 160 countries. IEEE is leading advanced technologies in wide variety of fields including aerospace system, computers, and electronic communications as well as playing a crucial role in standardizations.
The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the Board of Directors upon a person with an extraordinary record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.
