A research group including Dr. Wang Xiyue, a research fellow at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Cyber & Real ICT, presented a paper on “HanaARrange,” a new augmented reality (AR) system that supports self-guided practice with flower arrangements and provides AI-generated feedback. The paper was accepted at the ACM Designing Interactive Systems Conference (DIS 2026), held in Singapore, where they gave an oral presentation and a demonstration. The paper received the Honorable Mention Award, which is given to only the top 5% of all papers.
