大学院生の及川洋介さんがIEEE Sendai Section, Student Award (The Best Paper Prize)を受賞しました．本賞は，平成18年度電気関係学会東北支部連合大会における「Student Session」での発表の中から，最も優れた内容の発表者を表彰するものです．

受賞内容は，「10 Gb/s ×4 channel WDM transmission over a 3 km-long photonic crystal fiber in the 800 nm region」の研究です．
